Waypoint Property Inspection, LLC, is a Riverview, Florida-based home inspection company. Our home office is based in Hillsborough County and services the West Central areas of Florida; our 'sister company' Waypoint Property Inspection East is based in Palm Beach County and services the East/Southeast areas of Florida. We are fully certified to perform various types of property inspections including new and resale residential inspections, new construction inspections, FHA certification inspections, and 4-Point insurance inspections. Our clients include homebuyers, home sellers and investors. Waypoint inspectors are proud members of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI.) Bob Hintze is also a Certified ASHI Inspector.

PRINCIPLE OWNER / CHIEF INSPECTOR

WAYPOINT PROPERTY INSPECTION

Prior to opening Waypoint Property Inspection in 2004, Bob Hintze spent over 20 years in the financial services and retail industries as an executive leader. At times he had over 400 associates directly reporting to him, while he simultaneously directed several large departments. In addition to his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Tech, he earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Throughout his corporate career, Mr. Hintze focused on providing excellent service and educating his clients.

He completed extensive home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates. He has over 200 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with industry expectations. He has passed the National Home Inspector Examination (currently not required of Florida inspectors,) and he is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Additionally, Mr. Hintze is certified through Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR Inspections) as a Senior Inspector to assist FEMA with building assessments that have been affected by natural disasters. And he is certified by the state of Florida to conduct My Safe Florida hurricane mitigation survey and residential retrofitting (Wind) inspections. 

Throughout his corporate career and as the owner of Waypoint, Mr. Hintze has focused on providing excellent service while educating his clients. This commitment to the client has always been a part of his guiding principles; it is the foundation of Waypoint Property Inspection. 

MARK WAHL

OWNER / INSPECTOR

WAYPOINT PROPERTY INSPECTION EAST

Along with opening Waypoint Property Inspection East, Mark Wahl has spent over 20 years in the insurance industry specializing in Claims and Loss Control Services. He studied Business Management while attending the University of South Florida and Raritan Valley College (in Somerville, NJ.) He completed extensive home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates. Mr. Wahl has over 90 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with industry expectations. He is an active member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Additionally, Mr. Wahl is certified through Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR Inspections) as an Inspector to assist FEMA with building assessments that have been affected by natural disasters. He is also a certified member of the Palm Beach County Emergency Response Team (CERT). 

His strong experience in the insurance industry has given him the knowledge and skills to provide superior customer service for all of his Waypoint clients.
